Revolutionizing Healthcare Sustainability: Crothall Healthcare's Award-Winning Partnership with Clean Waste Systems

Clean Waste Systems was pleased to work with Crothall Healthcare on this initiative!

Crothall Healthcare won the Sustainable Service of the Year award for its Medical Waste Reduction Initiative using new technology from Clean Waste Systems at Monument Health in Rapid City. After piloting the system, the hospital now uses only a quarter of the electricity that was required for waste disposal. Because the waste is shredded, the cubic volume being sent to landfills is 73% less than usual.
